so, i made it through the night.
no one died,
and i wasn't eaten alive by the hundreds of moths that have decided to squat in my home - damn them!
(i'm such a great buddhist, eh?)

went for a beautiful trail run today - so sunny and hot!
so many people on the trail
i prefer my nature in solitude.
but that's what i get for going out on a weekend.
that's one of my favorite things a/b having days off in the middle of the week - trails are empty, grocery stores are empty, movie theatres in the middle of the day are empty . . .
it's wonderful.
anyway, we've been getting much much-needed rain lately, and the trail was completely flooded in several spots. we (my friend, my dog and i) just plunged in - almost to our knees in icey cold water, and ran w/, shall we say "soggy" shoes.
then when we were done took off our shoes and socks and waded around in the water. it was great. i never wanted to leave.
but, i'm back.
i think i'm going to watch either Castle in the Sky, or Kiki's Delivery Service - both animes by miazake (of Spirited Away fame).

ps: my girlfriend, skyy, has been silent for a couple weeks now.
she was in the process of moving and i figured she was busy . . .
maybe she doesn't love me anymore.

pps: thanks to everyone who gave me comforting words and advice on how to stay home alone at night.
what am i, 13? oh well, i accept my weaknesses, it's the first step in conquering them.
