last noght was a bust..our redneck bar owners realized it was a holiday and asked us to spin outside on the patio..which is what we were origonally doing..but now they have water damage on thier roof so when it rains(and it did) i have to simply call it off..they can gat as pissed as they want but when i have over 2000$ worht of equipment thats not water friendly and i couldnt even sell it for less than half of what i bought it for..they can either work with us or compromise..the worst part is we had a special guest dj and it was her bday..aside from these oweners being completly unprofessional,they're not all that bright either..the only reason i keep doing it is because of the djs that work under me want to keep it going.
on a bright side i got 4 gigs offered to me this week..all big events..and tonight im going to scout a new bar as well as check up on our other local..so we can get the hell outta that hole in the wall bar and spin a real place...time will tell.
