I get to open for the Trevor Dunn / Shelley Burgon duo monday (03/07) at the Southgate House.

I'll be scratching with Prantershifter, an experimental noise project from my friend Jim.

The show will be sweet, and we'll be on first, so come early (8:30/9:00).

so, yeah. i have big hearts for Crispin Glover, and today a friend sent me this link to Crispin's video for "Clowny Clown Clown".

Kind of crappy quality, but hey: it's still great.

And hey, maybe it will get me some brownie point with my favorite SG....

dude i understand about the X-mas music, i loathe it !!! Ugghh!!! I can't stand when people ask me if i like X-mas music, i'd rather remixit than to play most of it!!!!!!
let me know what you're favorite music is lately, i go thru cycles of just this or that, i get tired of the same thing all the time. right now i just listen to raggaeton(latin raggae), and raggae-your basic bob marley , and others with a Hip hop or drum and bass twist... I just love it!!!!! I just might sprout dreads, but soon i'll move on.... i just love the documentary scratch.... i just watched a bit of it after my friend returned it from extended loan. it's inspired me to practice my (mediocre) scratching. i'm getting better, at least.

my article will be published in citybeat, one of the free papers here in cincinnati. this time next week i'll be a published writer, as well as a musician...
