So last night I got dark sparkled. It was fun, it was cool, and yeah I must go again and hopefully meet some of the SGSF folks. It kind of sucks going down there expecting to meet SGSF folks and realize they ain't no where to be seen. I mean I looked around, stood around, leered, inquired, spied, drank, stared, blacked out and nope I didn't notice anyone. I kept expecting someone to tap me in the shoulder from behind and say "excuse me are you the x factor?" Nope that didn't happen either. All I'm saying is if you see me will fucking say hi or something. Ok I ain't trying to rant here but then again I am ain't I?
I don't know if I've ever mentioned what I do for money... Well I paint. And you know those old Victorians you see around the city... Thats my gig. I was up on scaffolding all day today and yesterday slapping paint on this house in the Western Addition. Taking care of all the details on the ornament, moulding, trim, friezes, motifs, pillasters, gables, leafs, and on and on and on.
With this fucking 50 mph wind gusting at me as I'm applying delicately with extreme care paint to the insets behind the friezes.
It was alot of fun. Oh did I mention my hangover from last night?
