Inches moving step by step,
I cannot see the light.
Haze has covered the trees and I desperately need the sun.
Dry me up dear Sun I Prey- release the wetness deep beneath my skin-
Let me float back to your source, your heavens-- Let me bathe again in your brilliant light--
'Love My Child,' was all I heard--
I turned and watched the sun bow beneath the clouded horizon--
I could barely breath.
My toes again tried to inch forward,
But I sank.
As the tides attempted again to sweep me down stream,
pink light streamed from my heart.
'This will be the last time' I screamed!
Beaming, I floated to the surface and out developed my wings.
Wet and struggling I begged the Sun for one mere ray to dry the
Radiant feathers behind me.
The winds shifted and so did I.
Off I flew from the depths of the ocean to the clouds in the sky---
My true-self was finally reborn. . .
DIVINITY.
