That bit about Jayne Mansfield reminded me of a movie. You've seen Crash (1996) right? There's a part in the movie where they try to recreate her car wreck. It's pretty messed up.

i like the new profile pic you are really really pretty. yea the main thinga bout see no evil that turned me off was the fact that the baddie was awrestler, but yous eem to have good taste and i can see it for free so i'll watch it. thats cool you got rue morgue, doesen't monsters hd sound fucking brilliant i wish i had sattelite too. i cannot wait for the special edition of from beyond to come out on dvd.

watched see no evil last night after shift. i enjoyed it, it did have some good gore. lots of eyeball mayhem!! when you saw it did it have a trailer for a movie called the descent before it?

da vinci made me fucking nuts it was so bad. thats cool see no evil turned out good. the first time is aw the preview i thought it looked like it might be one of the worst trailers i'd ever seen. then this weekend people at work began saying it was pretty good, so the plan is to go see it this tuesday. can your dvd player or comp play burned dvds? i was thinking i bet you could probably get the entire first seasona nd the banned takashi miike episode of masters of horror from ebay or something. i picked them up at the comic con this past weekend and i bet people are selling them on ebay too.

with as many postponements as the woods has had i have no idea when it will come out. personally i think they should just give up on a theatrical release and put it on dvd. i watched don coscarelli's episode of masters of horror last night. it's called incident on and off a mountain road. it was pretty good, had some nice monster/stalk and chase scenes a little eyeball torture and a twist at the end. it's worth watching if you have the oppurtunity.

Ah come on. Sure 48 hours is sort of nutty (hello, toilet?) but if you're in a secluded area, camping is the most freeing you can feel.

On YOUR entry: My grandfather died in a nursing home. I went to see him right before. It was horrible. The poor old people there made me feel bad and sort of creeped out. I don't think I could ever go in one again.

Seen silent hill? Yes, it's based off a video game BUT it actually focuses on errie suspense instead on action.

virgin suicides is a great movie and book. i wanna see some of these clothes you design. we don't have to many religious nuts where i live. instead i live smack in the middle of town and county full of rich pricks, and me being nowhere near rich it's awkward sometimes. lots of stuck up i'm better than you types. don't know if i'd rather have that or the creepy friendlies. definetly keep on the twilight zone one of the best genre shows ever.

never been that close to arkansas. when i was a senior in high school me and some friends drove down to florida for spring break. we drove through tennesee and georgia thats really been my only exposure to the south. the people were very friendly but you know there's eveil lurking behind those eyes, like twin peaks or something have you ever seen the twilight zone episode called the monsters are due on maple street? it's about these aliens who use panic and fear to completely unglue this neighborhood. such a relevant episode even now.

all good choices my personal fave being the beach girl vs. the monster one though.

they cover so much stuff in rue morgue. i just read that you were gonna be playing friday the 13th for nintendo well last month they did a feature on old horror video games and that was one, along with texas chainsaw for atari, nightmare for nes all kinds of stuff. they covered the remake trend from an actual critical point of view, really good stuff.

oh yeah also picking evil dead for a mystery science night is lame thats a horror classic no matter if it's cheezy or not.

yeah silent hill does have alot of computer animation in it and i'm with you on the anti-animation thing. that said though they actually did a really good job with most of it in the film. especially when it came to just enhancing the look of the film. yeah fangoria is ok but they do focus on alot of stuff i could care less about. the last issue of rue morgue, the cover story was about erotic european horror from the 70's. i don't know any other magazine that would devote their cover to that subject, stuff like that is why i love it so much. netflix is great, i love the mystery science theatre series as well, i wish they were still making new epsiodes.
