you know, when multiple people are harassing you to show proof of existence, it's time to update

so, what's been going on...... lets see.... there's work, there's.... ummm.... work? oh, and THEN there's work.

One of my co-worker's mother died, so (and rightfully so) she's taken the next few weeks off and the rest of us have had to double up shifts to cover the hours. She took it hard, cried on my shoulder for about 2 hours, but she's a cool person, I didn't mind.

I've recently become the company's top seller, doubling the general manager's figures (/me pats his back)... the big boss man and I are negotiating my contract for a raise and commitment period, as well as a side business venture.... could happen, could not, either way, we'll see.

I've stopped stressing the job, i'm doing my best and i can't ask anymore of myself than that.

I still feel like I'm caught between being asleep and fully awake.... like I don't belong here but I have to be here long enough to fully wake up. Just never feel I quite have the time for that. Could just be the whole living at home thing. Don't get me wrong, the friend's I've made are awesome, I like the job... but I feel like I haven't been given the permission to take off my travelling shoes yet and I'm just waiting for new directions.
