It's all going down tonight.

Of course it shouldn't, but I know it will.....

A very good friend of mine is going to live in China for a year or so with his girlfriend and tonight he's having a going away bash.

So what's the problem? Me.

He is currently best friends with my ex girlfriend, with whom my current girlfriend has a very good reason to have major beef with- me again. I fucked up a little while ago and thought I wanted her back, messed things up majorly with current girl, but am on the right track now.

Anway, tonight we'll all be getting drunk to aid the farewell of a good, good friend, all in the same room.

There's been explosions in this scenario before and thus all involved avoid the situation like the plague. However, tonight is unavoidable.

Yes, yes. We're all adults and we should be able to cope. And yes, I'm sure we will....... doesn't stop the butterflies though....
