Was supposed to go to Portland on Monday morning to meet up with wifey, but the person that was supposed to watch her dog decided he didn't want to because he had friends in town. Okay he's my brother. More important for him to party up than for me to spend Christmas with my wife. Anyway, I'm flying up tomorrow at six a.m. and home tomorrow at nine p.m. so at least we have Christmas Day together. She comes back on Friday.

This is the second time I've been stuck here by myself on Christmas Eve. Oh well. I like the quiet. Maybe I'll go for a drive. The streets should be pretty empty.

Is Bing Crosby cool for singing Little Drummer Boy with David Bowie? I get such a weird vibe whenever I hear that song. Did they go out together afterwards drive fast and shoot up? Did they get it on? Did Bing watch, and smoke his pipe while Bowie gave it to his wife? Rump-a-bum-bum.
