So I started my new job on monday. It's going ok so far. Being away from writing software for about 5 months has left me a little rusty. It's hard getting the mindset back. Plus i'm going into a situation where the product is pretty mature. The scope of the project is already very large and all the architectural decisions have already been made. I'm not used to that. Every project i've ever been involved in has been from almost the very beginning, so jumping in after the fact and learning the system is going to be a challenge. But, I like the people, like the company, so hopefully it'll go well.
