for those of you who are curious as to what i'm building, here is the gist of it. It's a 1980 Yamaha xs650 motor (vertical twin), hardtail frame, apes, etc... It's going to have heavy influences from the hot rod/kustom car look. Basically semi-flat black with some old-school pinstriping on the tank and fender.

i made a very important financial planning decision over the weekend... other than my existing bills, mortgage, etc., money is to go to beer, tattoos and motorcycle parts. not necessarily in that order.

had a great weekend, mondays suck and i'm finally not slacking at work.

don't know which way i'm going.... i want to be angsty today, but i can't bring myself to care enough to bother. I guess i did enough of that last week.

things i've learned this weekend...

1. It's too hot to camp in June in Texas
2. Trudy's only allows 2 mexican martinis, UNLESS you drink other alcohol as well.
3. The SGTX peeps are all very very cool.
4. Don't eat crabs with hair on them.

sleepy... went to the Weird Wednesday flick at the Alamo with Nasty last night... Since when is Burgess Meredith or James Mason asian?

I've fallen back into some bad habits lately... I've worked too hard to get over some of my own shit to let that continue.

It has been a long week. Not a lot going on, but Miss Nasty has been busy with some things that are VERY important. I've tried to stay out of the way, yet be supportive. Had a very good weekend. Riding saturday with the club. We stopped by a couple fundraisers. Sometimes it seems like all we do is support other people's events.
