I met some people today that decided that I was some sort of novelty.
"Oh my gawd, you're black?!?!?!"
And for a fleeting moment, I thought they were joking. I woulda busted out the soft-shoe and did a little jig fuh 'em jus' like da massuh like, but they were sincerely curious about my pallor. What the fuck can ya say, huh?
"Gee, I'm sorry that I lack proper melanin for your discerning tastes..."
My bad. Shit.

Hopefully, I won't run into any more people like that, 'cause franky, those fuckers scared the shit outta me. Who in the world, not to mention the Good Ol' United States of America, is that fucking ignorant and naive? Good lawd! They're Bush voters, I just know it.

On a more supafly note, I finally put down my money to reserve my spot as a returning student to that gawd-awful University. Lucky for them they have such a good program, or I'd...I'd...not go back there. Bastards.
