disdain

i'm supposed to be writing an essay. its due monday morning.
explain the development of the concept of evolution, include personalities and their ideological contributions in a chronological order. what were different steps/ideas available for darwin to spell out how evolution works? how does knowledge build on itself to create and over-all theory?
this, i do not have the energy for right now.
