So this seems to be my only "real" channel of feeling/thought/emotion publication. The idea of livejournal is great. Err, actually it's exactly what it shouldn't be. The term journal (in the context) generally makes me think of a diary,. ie. keeping a journal. The whole public journal idea, kind of defeats the purpose.

A lot of times, gen-x'ers are refered to as the nintendo generation. (actually, by a lot I mean in the movie hackers, and for me, it kind of caught on from there)

I'd like to dub the next generation (gen-y?) :

Do you ever wonder why type of person codes/writes/develops the "popcorn", "hotdog" auto-cook buttons on microwaves??

Does it consist of some sort of advanced algorithyms, or just a huge documented trial and error test? Do they get popcorn specialists?
Like can you go to school to learn something like that?
