This past weekend was amazing. My brother-in-law won a contest to go to the UFC event in Montreal. Free train tickets, free hotel, free fight tickets, the whole nine yards. We were on the VIP car with Forrest Griffin who is cool as hell and a big Dropkick Murphy's fan. He made a point of coming up to tell me he has the same shirt I was wearing. We got a bunch of free shirts and stuff, pluss we drank free beer all the way to Montreal. Drank all day until the fights and then went to the Bell Centre for some seriously crappy overpriced beer. Solid night of fighting with the exception of one match. Great fucking time. Hope to do it again some day.
