Now what?
So Christmas is rapidly gaining on me, like a starved slavering beast eager to feast on my corpse. I can run, but I can't hide.
Normally I love Christmas..well apart from the seasonal depression...that I don't love so much...but that's not really an issue now that I've transplanted myself to the golden state. Golden Bear state. State of Bears dipped in pools of molten gold. Whatever. Anyway, what I was going to say is that normally I get really into buying things for people and in the process drive my bank account dangerously close to negative numbers. But this year? No money. Like, for real no fucking money, and I still don't have a job. Still. 10 fucking months. No job. Unbelievable.
So whatever, I'm just going to try and forget about it and enjoy this weekend.

we found bela as a stray, so we're not totally sure of her breed or age. the vet said she's probably a maine coon.
