I actually fixed my girlfriend's car today.
Well, she helped, so I suppose I can't claim 100% credit. And, oh yeah, she's the one who forked over the dough for the part, but god dammit, this is my moment to shine! SHIIIIIIIINE! And sure, it was just an ignition lock cylinder replacement......oh, fine I guess it's not that big a deal.
Now I get to go to my super awesome interview at Pier One on Monday. I think I'm going to just say NO but I'm going to go to the interview anyway just to be able to say that I went, even though I haven't told anyone about it.
Except for all of you, that is.
Yeah, that whole thing was weird. I went into the store and asked if they were looking for help, hoping the answer would be no, but the joke was on ME because it was YES! So this weird lady with grey hair and a TOTALLY monotone voice descends on me and says "The position is Truck. Can you do Truck? Because the position we have available is Truck". I had no idea what was going on. I nodded and she said "Great" and turned to disappear back into the nether regions of the store, and I managed to call after her "So...do I put 'Truck' for 'Position Applied For'?" and she said "No, put Sales Representative". The whole thing was odd. But the real dealbreaker is going to be the fact that the shift starts at 5am. There is actually a wage they could pay me that would motivate me to take that job, but more than likely, when I find out how much the job pays I'm going to start laughing, walk out of the store, and go 2 doors down and FINALLY reserve Silent Hill 4. Yeah I haven't done that yet. What is wrong with my priorities I ask you?!?!?!?
Oh, and I discovered something that makes me sad: Resonant Evil has 3 tracks with the EXACT SAME BEAT.It's a good beat, but that still doesn't make it right! Here I am agonizing over how to make all my tracks unique and interesting and.....naw.....lemme kill that tirade right there. Evidence
