It's a bad sign, such a bad bad sign, when your boss gets "rotated out" with 1 day notice. The killer is that my (former?) boss wasn't the problem, it's the guy we're getting instead who washed out of his area. They're giving his area to my sup (to fix) and putting him in my area. Why they aren't just getting rid of him is a story that makes me want to scream. At any rate, I can kiss my career goodbye if I don't come up with something quick.
Pass the bourbon; I'm back on the sauce.
