So, I'm feeling a little bit discouraged about my art class. The assignment said we could use flat patterns and i took that to mean stylized as well. We were only allowed to work in chromatic grays. All of my friends lied to me and told me this was a good painting, only to find out later by my teacher,during critique, that it is indeed crap. She is the one that told me to put modeling on the alien baby! And then she had the nerve to say that the table looked cubist which would be cool, except that I tried to make the baby 3D. Uhg. I am going to pick a much simpler subject for my next attempt.
