I AM ALIVE.
Barely! Work has been insane. Thankfully I haven't had any more disasters with karaoke neighbors or bad drivers, but I have been running on fumes this last week with no time to myself.
Personally, I think ME time... is very important- for everyone! You have to have some time each day where no one bothers you- where you do as you please, and you have no obligations. The world is a busy crazy place, and we all have jobs and responsibilities... but we also have to have a bit of peace and solitude so we can recharge our batteries (metaphorically speaking) and not want to chop people's heads off. (Also, metaphorically speaking)
Any who, I've been running a tight rope recently, and sadly, it shows no hope of letting up.
The good news for all you is my ass is getting smaller (and tighter) and we are already booking the second (much better designed) set.
Also, my back tat is coming along swell and I'm excited to start showing it off!
Really, getting inked is my only Zen time... I completely get schnockered when I get ink, and I put on an iPod and pretty much go to sleep. Tragically, when I was getting inked this weekend the shop was full of people bugging the crap out of me... looking over my artist shoulder, standing over me. And one fucker even bumped me three times! I wanted to reach around and smack him. Thankfully, my artist recognized I was getting bothered and shooed them all out.
That's really all I have new going on. I'm supposed to be working even now as I write this... so I guess I had best get going.
