well, fuck. I think this update is more procrastination on my part... I've got half a room to pack today and I am not happy about it. Oh well. Hopefully after this update is done I'll have the motivation to get moving on it all.... damn no matter how hard i try I am just not domestic!!
So yeah, I talked to cyd last night, only to hear that relocation to SF plans on his business end are dragging to a sloooow crawl. This is SO frustrating as we can't really sign a lease on a new place until we find out where the studios will be in SF (since cyd works 80+ hour weeks he needs to be within a couple blocks of the studio).
Now I dont know about you, but we're starting to cut it close - I dont think he's really realized that we have to be completely out of this house by the end of November...where oh where to go after then??? We have 2 cats that we need to relocate, so its not like I can stuff them in a backpack, put everything in storage and move up to Brooklyn to be with him until they finally decide to relocate. Plus cyd's living situation in Brooklyn sucks - he has a small room in an apartment with a twin bed - should i sleep on the floor? and what am i supposed to do during those long days that he's away working? totally unrealistic.
Sadly, if nothing changes it looks like i'm going to have to put everything in storage (everything that I cant sell/throw out/donate that is...), and take my two cats and move in with my parents in Sacramento, just outside of San Francisco. Its really the only place for me to go
So instead of being 2 hours away from cyd waiting for things to change, I'm going to be 3,000 miles away from cyd, waiting for things to change.
Yeah this is going to be a downer journal entry. Fuck, life just aint fair. And I'm tired of making so many sacrifices - goddamnit i just want things to change.
So as you can imagine, I've been stressing about this - a lot. I've turned into a part-time insomniac as well, which helps nothing. I cant help it - I just want a teensy bit of control over my life right now and I dont really have any.... bah.
Okay off to pack more boxes. whoop dee doo.

it really sucks when you're packing and you don't know where you'll end up. this happened to us last year, when we ended up staying with my family for a while. it will all work itself out somehow. you can come stay here in ct... but 4 cats in a one bedroom might be kinda crazy. but if all else fails, you are always welcome here.
