Holidays freak me out a little. It's really the only time I go home each year, and it's always a time that I realize how much my personality doesnt fit with the rhythms of my family as much as it used to. I'd blame it on growing up, but my sister is older than me and is still living at home... so I get more "out of the loop" vibes than "this is what being an adult is like" ones.

It will only be for a few days, it shouldnt be too bad.... Plus they turned my bedroom into a guest room this last year, apparently it's all pastel colors now.... thing is that they have 3 extra bedrooms already, why turn mine into a guest room as well? well, it will be good to be home, they like it when I'm home, I know they want me back on the west coast badly.

Plus I'll get to see the stars out (it's too bright here in the city), and the fresh air wil be nice... maybe I'll go hiking again when I'm there....
