ARGH! shitfuck! fuckshit!

I'm going on mental holiday.

It's strange - I enjoy wandering, traveling from place to place, doing this and that, making my mark and then leaving before anyone realizes what's happened.... but every time, EVERY TIME I go somewhere I do this veritable backflip of emotions, a degauss of sorts in my brain, forcing me to reevaluate, reexamine, and reinforce my senses and convictions.

meh. I'm too intense sometimes. Hopefully it will come to something some day.

Vegas!

What a bizarre wonderland for the idle mind, a big bright shiny thing to grab your attention, entertain you briefly, and leave you broke, hungover, underslept... and maybe with something more?

While busy the entire trip, the time I did spend out in the wilds of this town was spent watching the masses of people doing what people do in vegas - being crazy, drunk, fast, and out of control... and holy hell was it entertaining to see.

So now I'm back with my family, for a short while, to take care of the "responsible" part of my trip. Information has slowly been leaked to my family as to what I do for a living, and I need to nip this in the bud before it becomes this year's family scandal. I've been avoiding this talk for two days - no more waiting..... must. do. now.

btw, suburban life is sooo not me. square pegs do not fit in round holes. thank goodness i'll be in San Francisco this weekend - oh how I long for pavement and crazy people...

speaking of bizarre people, have you licked your ymonster lately? I just realized that my head's been way too far up my ass lately to post about the wonderful job he did reworking my arm before I left nyc, and while I thanked him in person, proper thanks need to be broadcast here. I couldn't be happier with what he did, and he truly slammed his balls to the wall to get it done for me. (ow, the imagery...) I should post a picture just to show how much an improvement he made on my arm.... must finish healing first.

It's also his birthday soon, so wish him a happy birthday (happy birthday, killer!)

For the first time in a very long while, I'm actually nervous about something. It entails a script, a video camera, and not having to take my clothes off. I'm actually losing sleep over this... argh

my cat is getting better even though she's 4 years old, she's so tiny and fragile... she finally turned the corner a few days ago. I am a happy cat mother again.
