I very rarely voice my opinion when it comes to political nonsense or in this case, the big mask debate of 2020 but I feel compelled to share my thoughts. Here are my thoughts for those who feel it necessary to harass people who choose to not wear one:
What people don't seem to understand is, if you are worried about contracting coronavirus from someone not wearing a mask, then why the fuck are you trying to engage in conversation with that person. Each time someone walks up to someone while not minding their own business and forces that person to speak to them directly, they are more at risk than if they would just leave people the fuck alone. I wear a mask in hopes that it helps in the midst of all this mask confusion, plus I already have emphysema, but I care fuck all if the person whom I never met, that I probably won't ever meet and is minding their own business, wears a mask or not. Me leaving them alone ensures that the chances of us giving each other the coronavirus is pretty much eliminated.
How about we attempt to make common sense just a little more common again?
