bought the new Interpol album and i really like it. they didnt remake the old album, although i still cant shake the feeling it sounds like Hedwig (of Angry Inch fame) covering lost Joy Division songs.
got new jeans! i really like 'em. and theyre new too! first pair of new jeans ive bought that weren't on sale or stolen from some sleeping bum. poor bum. he doesn't deserve all the things i put him through. but he loves me, and you know, i love him.
walked around downtown and felt like a nigerian tourist... all "i lahv amaireeka! blue genes! cahdeelac!" and shit. if you haven't walked around downtown chicago in the fall i highly suggest you do. its just like it is in the movies.
