I found this poem I wrote awhile back



Another day is over
I fall into bed
My head is full of thoughts
Thoughts that tourment me
The thoughts aren't so big right now
They're drowning
Drowning in the beers and shots
The beers and shot I need to calm them
It's quiet now
I have no idea where my bed is tonie
Tomorrow it'll all be a blur
I'll sit and wonder what I did last night
I'll look back and laugh
Trying to hide the shame and embarrasment
Look back and know that it wasn't me
Slowly the day winds down
The thought have filled my head again
So it's time, time to send them away
Time to drown them out
Hopefully I'll make it home
Hopefully i won't have to regret tonite tomorrow
I know that in another twenty for hours it'll happen again
I just wish I knew another way
A way to make it stop
