So this week (the 9th) has officially been 2 years since my car accident..... The 13th is 2years since I had the actual surgery to repair my neck.....The last week of June was 2 years since my dads heart attack... Not only that but 1 year ago on the SAME date my friend Chris passed away at only 21..... A year ago this week I was in a hospital bed for 3 days with a severe staph infection in my left elbow... The day I was released from the hospital my mom was in a car accident...... Right now my 84 year old grandmother is recovering from colon surgery..... I have yet ANOTHER infection, only this time in my right elbow. Luckly not staph since I caught it early........ This time 2 years ago me ex decided to start sleeping with her MARRIED ex-boyfriend... I saw her for a couple hours weds evening.. At first yes there was a wave of memories that briefly hit me, good memories...Then reality hit me..HARD and it reminded me that was a place I never wanted to be again. It's like the things that happen to you happen for a reason. Yeah it may SUCK at the moment BUT it's what you take away from those experiences is what matters... Now..now I have someone who so far has been nothing short of amazing to me. Hopefully it stays that way..... I've done A LOT of livin' & learnin' in 24 years...ALOT! You know what though.. I still got alot left to learn & alot of livin' left to do BUT I like to think I've got a pretty good grasp on shit as it is.

Damn... 2 years... How do you take an anniversary like this? I just look at it like this, if something like this can't stop me....








It's gonna take on HELL of a punch to take me down & keep me there. Heaven help the who or whatever tries to take me down. I'm here to stay for awhile.
