Yeah so I say to hell with today..fuck it. V-day is supposed to be the day you spend with the person you love & it's supposed to be all sweet & romantical like..

It's just like any other holliday anymore.. Just another over commercialized day for people to make money off of. It's like if you don't buy flowers, chocolates or dimonds & inculde a romantic dinner or something like that then you're not doing enough..

Fuck that! Just being with the people you care about works for me! Yeah in a very big way it SUX to not have anyone to buy all those things for or do anything special for BUT I'm o.k. with that I think.. I'm just gonna hang here @ me house, chill with a tastey Corona & that's that.

I did call Gabrielle's voice mail last night so she's have a V-Day message from me first thing this morning but I don't figure she'll even bother to call me back... I would imagine she's probably not even working today & is with Jeff, who by the way hasn't answered his cell phone when I've tried to call him (little chicken shit), and if she is with him then that just makes me feel sorry for her.. Yeah I'm still a little mad, hurt & yes even a little jealous, but the more time I've had to sit back & look at the situation... I just feel sorry for her. It's really sad that she has to stoop so low.. Hey, not my problem anymore really.

So I'm gonna sit here & today, with no valentine, & work on some homework, do some reading I've been meaning to do, or watch a movie or two, enjoy the company of a good Corona & just chill. I don't have to spend any money on anyone this yr though!!

I'll take my daughter shopping this weekend when she's here but besides that.. I'm savin' some some money this year!!

I do miss that though. I love V-Day, Christmas, birthdays.... I spoil whoever I'm with. Every year it's at least a half dozen long stem roses (the have a vendor who sells roses out of a refrigerated truck for like $10-$12 a dozen so if I buy those I've been known to buy 5-7 dozen roses), or their favorite flower, dinner, a couple gifts, candles, good music, maybe a bottle of wine... I LOVE doing stuff like that. I really am the hopeless romantic.. That will probably never change either. I suppose that's good & bad in different ways...

Like I said though..It's all too comercialized now. It's all about material things.. I don't mind doing stuff but it really is getting bad. You should be able to just enjoy the company & have a good day. Eh I dunno..
