have you watched his reunion concert (with these same musicians) in Hyde Park? It has some amazing moments in it--but the energy of the original South African concerts... they are really a treasure! and a righteous wordsmith he was in those years
Woody Guthrie was a famous American songwriter. His guitars had "This machine kill Fascists" written or wood-burned into them. He hated rich people paying police to oppress the working people.
