A lifetime of mimicking lazy rural dialects and surfer jargon has left me ill prepared to learn Spanish. It is an elegant, punctual, and fluid language. I can't just replace one syllable for another like you versus yer', isn't versus ain't, etc... I'm suppose to roll my r's, h is silent, and 2 l = y! How is an ignorant, arrogant fool like me going to learn this? I'm trying anyway...
Ella es hermosa.... "Hola, Coma estas. Vienes Aqui a menudo?" and a fricking upside down question mark at the start of a question...
