larry harvey died this year. he started burning man at a beach in san francisco. now burning man is a huge festival in the desert. i was part of the temple crew for many years. i went there to play my guitar in the temple and connect to the spirit world. i did that for a few years, then the festival changed. finally my tent burnt down, so i left.
burming man is still there and people can still make their own world. it is really cool that there is something that it is. my friends still like it fine....
since i was on the temple crew, i often ended up hanging out where larry was. we talked once in a while, but i thought with so much constant attention he appreciated peaceful places. i liked him just fine. larry harvey was a really nice guy. many people will miss him.
