Kris dragged me up to Kenny's Alley last night, since it was supposed to be some 80's night thing at The Future or whatever.

What I had forgotten, was that this was the weekend that Atlantis Music Conference was being held on.

So we get to The Future, and the absolute Worst. Band. Ever. is playing. We stuck around because we were laughing our asses off.

We headed over to the Alley Cat after that, and it made the night a little more worthwhile. It's a pretty cool place to just chill. I enjoyed it. A kick ass local band called The Cogburns played. That was the first I had heard of them, and I'll most likely check them out again. All the ladies in vinyl hotpants was kinda nice too.

I think next year for Atlantis, I'm just going to buy a wristband and take the weekend off. I missed out on Linger, The Swear, and Y.O.U., at the very least this weekend, due to not having cash to blow, and the whole "job" thing. I think some other bands I wanted to check out played too, can't remember. Ah well...

We went to the Majestic Diner afterwards, and it was gooooooood. Thems was some damn good pancakes.

I really should start cleaning the house! That was my plan for the day, but I slept untill like, 2:00 or so. Bleh...
