So, anyway, I guess it was the 5th, I dunno, but I took me a little trip to the E.R. I've never broken a bone, so this unkownk at the time ailment was the worst goddamn pain I had ever been in. I didnt know what the hell it was either. My guess was salmonella from the Iguanas. Checked on Lauren to see how she was, since we had gone to Joes Crab Shack (Which fucking rocked) a few days before. I figured it might have been something related to that. No beans, she was fine, which was good.
Turns out, after my boss made me STILL FUCKING WORK when I was hunched over and could hardly walk, that it was just kidney stones and a UTI.
How in the fuck, did I, of all motherfuckers get this stuff? I drink water and cranberry juice only for the most part. No sodas, no coffee, no teas, no nothing that could leave crap in my kidneys. Goddamit. And a UTI of all things? Thats rare for dudes anyway. Guess it was just my time. /shrug
The fun part was this: An hour wait once we get to the hospital, till the time they send me to a room. Another 20 for the doctor to come in. Another 20 for a morphene/demerol shot that didnt even kill the pain. Another half hour or so till the CT scan nurse comes in, a seisure when I get to the CT scan room from a bad reaction to the morphene, a 10 minute tops trip from the room, to the scan, and back, and then some more laying around in pain.
I saw hospital personell for a grand total of 20 minutes, and got raped for $3000.
Ugh, and then a followup a few days later to a urologist. His office was fucking gross. There were stains on the walls, the toilet was leaking, ugh, just piss nasty. (Hah, I am funny) The assclown didnt even do crap except shove some antibiotics in a bag and give them to me. They were twice the dosage I was prescribed too. So, I suggest, if you are one of the GA folks, and you see this, do not under any circumstances go to the urology clinic near Douglas hospital. The dude is a quack, and the place is gross.
All this, plus puking everywhere for 2 days, not eating for 4, and all the missed work equals up to YAY!
Oh yeah, and am I just immune to medecine or what? I never take anything, so you'd think a morphene and demerol shot would knock my ass out, but no. I still felt every bit of pain, although I was able to relax. The percocet I was prescribed didnt phase me either. Weird shit.
