The car situation didnt end up too bad. I was able to squeeze all but $1.00 of the work onto my card, so I still have cash for the other bills.

Edit: Tonight indeed rocked! Avenge Vegas won the Open Mic Madness contest. Holy shit I'm stoked. Even bands that lost had producers and record company folks come up to talk to them. This is goodness.
