Man oh man.

I was in such a hurry to get to the show I was going to last night, I forgot to get the gas that I paid for. Fuck I hate prepaying for gas to begin with.

So of course, after I hit the next exit and turn my ass around, the only customer at the gas station is at the pump I prepayed on.

Then the idiots running the place couldn't figure out how to let that guy just fill up the rest of his tank, and put my $10 on another pump, thus slowing me down even more.

At least he was a nice guy and didn't just say "Hah, sucker, thanks for the gas."

After paying a rediculous amount for parking since I was already running behind and didn't want to miss any more of the show, I got to catch about half of Forget Cassettes, who were totally awesome as usual. Libras were great too, as was fully expected. But that last band...wow...just...damn. Imagine the Strokes, trying to be the post-LSD Beatles, and this band trying to be that, and totally sucking. I tried to watch in morbid curiousity, but couldn't take it any longer. Even when they were setting up, I wanted to punch them all in their indie scenester effeminate man-twats. With their eyeliner and bandannas around their necks, and their shaggy hair. I nearly sacrificed their Rickenbackers in some dark ritual to summon Sam Beam's beard to teach their drummer a lesson on how to rock one properly, then crush them all in vengeance.

So yeah, that was my night. Beth told me no more Forget Cassettes shows down here till September. frown That girl is so rediculously sexy on stage it's almost uncalled for.

But all in all, good night. I saw live music, I saw friends, and all was well. I'd just like to forget how much the total cost of a "cheap" night out was. Going to Vinyl is never cheap. Fuck them parking rates yo.

Haha, I could have seen myself righting that exact same thing.
