Seriously, what the fuck?

Riley has been in limbo for I swear what seems like 34 years. Since she's been in limbo, countless other girls who haven't been in limbo nearly as long have had sets go up. A good portion of these sets sucked.

Way lame. I seriously wonder how the SG bigs decide these things.

On the other hand..

While I definitely have my disagreeances with this site, and some of the blatant morons that plague the boards, I have had the luck of meeting people who are totally fucking awesome. Even though she teases me about my accent.

In other news...

Man, is it strange how plans get get completely fucked up due to the simplest things. I asked for this past Saturday off over a week in advance, to go see ChimericalMe's band play, meet my parents for lunch as it was my Moms birthday, and head out to FatherGnarrk's place later that night.

See, that was the plan anyway, untill I got called in to work because someone else called out, my folks blew off the whole thing, and my friend Kevin I was going to hang out with decided to sit on his tubby ass and play World of Warcrap all day.

So yeah, shot all to hell.

Whateva.

I did get to drive out to the middle of Ohmyfuckinggodimgonnadie to chill at FatherGnarrk's place, which was pretty awesome. Tons of geeking out, exploding things, and complete bufoonery. I am jealous like woah of his CD collection. Damn you and your original SST releases of Sonic Youth albums, including their first album, damn you. I quite enjoy the company of friends that were there. Hasselhoff is a damn funny dude.

Dammit all though. Oryon offered to let me crash at his place for the night, which was very nice of him, but I declined since I don't live all that far away from him. It might have been wiser for me to just go ahead and stay though, because I woke up a few times on the way home in the middle of one of the thick fog patches that were everywhere that night thinking "Oh shit, where the fuck is the road?!"

Man oh man, the thrift store has been my friend lately. I scored The Wall, Atom Heart Mother, and The Final Cut all on vinyl the other day, along with Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense. Today, I got Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, The Star Wars soundtrack, a Superman story record, and George Thorogood and The Destroyers - Move it on Over. So yeah, good times.

I also picked up a couple Public Enemy albums today, not on vinyl though, sadly. But my CD collection needed It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold us Back, and Fear of a Black Planet. That need is satiated now.

I found out something earlier that could possibly work in my favor, though I don't want to jinx myself.
