Hey everyone. I know I promised to have something more detailed and exciting up when it happened....
but nothing did happen, so here I am again, writing another boring, lame-ass, pointless journal
. suck it up all y'all.
so I'm a little morose and melancholic right now, in this moment. distances from here to everywhere else just seem too huge to fathom. so, no real big deal, i'm sure that as soon as the sun comes up this mood'll pass, but for right now its a bummer.
however, at least on one front things are looking up - the crew i'm on is leaving wednesday at the earliest (if the drilling rig is ahead of schedule) and thursday if they're on schedule...for the planned behind schedule that my company always is ready for. so money is back on its way to my pocket, but FreakPirate is gonna hafta celebrate our birthday without me. Make sure all of you drop him a line on sunday to wish him the happy 21
.
And yes, I'll update before I fly out. I won't know 100% when I go until my boss calls and says "Pack your bags, the plane is at 8 in the morning tomorrow.".
