Wow...didn't end up looking for a job after all today...but one ended up coming my way anywho. I'm heading down to my dad's tomorrow morning to help build a farm structure of some sort for one his neighbours. So I'm gonna be gone for a few days as they don't have internet at their house.
Also called in to the shop today to get an update on when the next crew was going up. The manager sounded shocked to find out that I haven't gone up before now
. Despite how worrisome it is to find out that the personnel manager doesn't know the work activities of one of his employees, it works out anyway because I'm now on a short list for guys to call for the next crew to go up...so if I happen to be at my dad's when they call for me, you all might not hear from me again until september 
That is, unless he's lying to me and I don't get called up while I'm down at Innisfail
Anyway, here's hoping for the best...which I don't know what exactly that is right now, but either way I'll miss you all while I'm gone
