So, uh. I'm fine. How are you?
I can't find the motivation to keep up my journal without outside prodding. I s'pose it doesn't help that I don't really have extra time to fill out expense paperwork for reimbursment through my work, or even file my taxes yet. When you work close to 10 to 12 hours a day, and you need enough sleep to function for multiple days in a row like that, it really only gives you a couple hours or so in the evening to fit all of that in. And still get the very important snuggle and cuddle time in with my lady...and also very important relax-and-do-nothing time.
It follows, then, that I'm very behind on many things. Housework, paperwork, (some, not all) bills, socializing with friends.
Don't misunderstand, however - I'm not overly morose over these facts. I'm quite happy where I'm at professionally, and I'm dedicated now to a plan to return to school in a responsible length of time. I'm not dissatisfied with what I'm doing...only the amount of time it takes out of my life. Welcome to the grown-up world, huh?
