June 9, 2004 some people want to fill the world with pretty love songs
Obviously my first journal entry had to be sacrificed to the computer demons. So here we go again
I just looked at my bookshelves and wondered how many trees have died because of me. Its kinda weird, to think that I spend ours at a time poring over the dead flesh of these trees that have been growing for hundreds of years. I feel kind of bad about it. Oh well, better to me a tree-killer than misedumacated.
Things are actually looking up, although thats just my perception, there havent actually been any positive sign lately. Ive been working out again, starting to box as well, and have been reading several books that have been quietly accusing me of favoritism over the last few months. Latest great book Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Murukami. I dont know why, but I love Japanese post-modern fiction. Im not the only one, right? Right?
Alas, giving serious thought to returning to U of T this September. I dont want to, but maybe Ill just take a few courses to pass the time. Till then
