Only just a few weeks until I am a free man again. Having taken the whole summer out of the music arena to fast track my PhD thesis before I go full time in to releasing and touring again, I have to admit the excitiment is really at bursting point. It's been alot of 5am finishes at Uni only to be followed by 10am starts the next morning, pro-plus and extra expresso shots have been staple in my daily routine but now I can start to exhange that again for my beloved JD and fine selection of continental beers!

Everything is ready for the release and the graphic design team have been sending me some cool new logos and merch designs to approve this week so all is fantastic, just wrapping up things with MTV also and if lucky might get a sample of the new release used at the VMA's.

Taking a break next sunday to do a charity show to raise money for the people of Burma, then a few weeks fixing the PhD, then finally submission. Probably have to wait a few months for my viva and no doubt it'll be during a tour so i'll have to fly back for that one....well fingers crossed it all goes well...PhD's are a right tough bastard
