Had a blast Friday night hanging out with some cronies from high school. I'll have to force them to hang out more often. Not that I don't like my boyfriend's friends, I just feel like... I don't know... like I interact better, can be more conversational around my old crowd. I feel like I'm the sharp-witted one, when usually Bryan takes that cake.

Either way.

TRYING to go see Knocked Up tonight. It's playing pretty late, so I don't know if that'll be a problem.

Also, I think I'd like a dog. I need to get this apartment put together first, but I feel like I've got the time, what with the new job. I can come home on my lunch break, and if Bryan doesn't get a second job, he's available all morning for a dog. But he really wants a second job. He feels like he NEEDS it. I keep trying to remind him of how stressed he was, working for Fat's and Steamers, and he hears none of it. Though I do understand that at Steamers, many of his issues stemmed from being the manager, and getting NO support from the owner. Not to mention the bouncing paychecks, and the CODs. (For a cafe/restaurant, that ain't so good.)

He feels like he has no money. And maybe that's true. But I'm just worried about him overworking himself. He already works 6 days a week (usually) at Fat's, and I hardly get to see him. Ah well, I can't be selfish about this- working does make him bizzarely happy. And if he gets another job that helps his career, I can't really complain. He's thinking bakery. His baking could use some brushing up.

My only complaint will be that he cooks so much at work that he won't want to do it at home. And I'm pretty hopeless in the kitchen. For me, gourmet is Hamburger Helper with ground turkey instead of beef. (Culinary Goddess!)

I've spent the day catching the last season of ANTM. Guilty pleasure, indeed!
