Picked up a full 8 hour shift today, huzzah! And I don't have to close tomorrow or Saturday! EXCITEMENT. And I got some change to do laundry! (I am on my very last pair of underpants, which is a sorry state for anyone to be in.)
My period kicked my ass today. Ow.
Bryan got a promotion, hells yes. From pantry to grill. Though he was working saute today. Either way, it's a step in the right direction. That guy o'mine is really goin' places in the kitchen. He's amazing. The burgers he made us for dinner last night... guuuhhhh. Habaneros mixed in with the ground beef, and a wine-sauteed onion stuff on top. Deeeeelish. Like steak on a bun. Fantastic. Why haven't I asked him to teach me how to cook? I suppose I'm all about eating and flavors. I tell him what's good and what needs fixin'. I think I have excellent taste, but I don't consider myself a foodie. I just like stuff that tastes good!
