My boyfriend knits better than I do. SOB. Ah well, he'll keep me around as long as I keep cleaning the apartment. He can cook, knit, sew, EVERYTHING. I just clean house. And watch cable.
Not the end of the world. I knit up the denim I shredded from an old pair of pants. It could become a rug, or a scarf that I'd personally never wear, even though it's fairly soft. We shall see. It ultimately depends on how soon I run through another pair of jeans. No point in purchasing some just for a project. I'd like to get some use out of them before destroying them.
This weather does not agree with me. There is no end to my sweating in sight. And my frozen grapes are all gone. And we're out of bottled water. And the Brita's on the fritz. And the tap water is damn nigh undrinkable.
