October has come and gone in a blink. Realized just how fast time goes by when I watched Guns & Roses video " November Rain". Then it hits me, this came out 20 years ago!! It went by in a blink. So quick that the events that lead to NOW seem part of a dream that I barely remember upon waking.
It never ceases to amaze me how coincidental life can be. At odd moments you find yourself in a place you never thought you would be; perhaps doing things you might never of thought of doing. You ask yourself "How did this ever happen?" Then you start to reflect back on the series of events that brought you to this point in your life. Eventually, you trace it back to one small seemingly insignificant event that led to a slight change in your life, then another and another; until part of your life has shifted direction.
I really try hard not to think of "back then" or "how things" used to be. ( makes me want to put a shotgun in my mouth.) I mean; God Damn... had the golden opportunity of a lifetime and I had to piss it away. "If only" will haunt me till my dying day. Just one little thing different, and I would not be typing this right this very second. One little thing different and YOU would not even be reading this. Kind of boggles the mind doesn't it?
If I never even introduced myself; this whole reality that is "right now" would not exists. There would be another blog that you would be reading. Hell, I'm sure on a different timeline I would of been dead since May 4, 2003. Remember... the only way to your future is to change your past; for the next most insignificant event can change your reality forever.
