I just got in a freaking car accident. Awesome. I did a U-turn in an uncontrolled intersection and hit another car. I checked my rear-view before doing it and it was clear, but I guess the guy came over the hill as I was waiting for the guy on the other side to go past. Everyone's okay, but the guy hit his head or something so they took him away in an ambulance.

My car is pretty messed up, the radiator's cracked and the bumper's hanging off so it had to be towed. His didn't look so bad, just a dent around the tire and a broken wheel. But my dad said it's probably worse than it looks. We're both under the same insurance, so it shouldn't be too complicated. The deductable's $500 and I got a citation because it was my fault. But my drviing record is pretty spotless, so the cop said it won't be too bad.

Seriously, though. I barely felt it. No airbag, I don't think I even strained against my seatbelt. It's good that only the cars were damaged, because there was a little kid in the passenger seat on the side I hit. But I'm still kinda annoyed. If I had left 30 seconds earlier, or stopped at a yellow light that I went through, or if I didn't miss my turn... It sucks.

I have an interview at the grocery store on Wednesday. No idea how I'm going to get there.

Edit: My neck and back are starting to hurt. Wonderful.
