I almost died the other day when I ran across 5 lanes of 50 mph traffic in two directions in order to catch the bus. I'm alive, so whatever. But if I had tripped, I would be dead. There was like one second between the time I cleared each side of the road and the time the first car came rushing by. Probably the single stupidest thing I've ever done. But I caught the bus.

New Battlestar Galactica last night. Seriously the best show on TV. It's like 24 in space, so intense. I haven't been this into a show since early Buffy, before I got into spoilers and stuff.

I've been reading a lot of Lovecraft type stuff lately, and it's making me want to write evil things. But it's not working. I'm taking a class on writing horror next semester, so I'll basically get 3 credits for writing what I'd be writing anyways. Ideally.

I'm taking a creative writing class next semester! I think it's neat to write what you normally would and then get credit for it*.. Who's your prof? I went to that pickaprof.com place and the guy who instructs mine seems..eh..a little wacky. I'm not sure how much I'm going to want to proofread half the classes stuff each week. skull I hope we've got a reaaally small class. I wonder if I can see how many are in there? confused

*Unfortunately, I can't write under pressure and if I'm forced to write this or that, I wonder if I'll lose all enjoyment for it. It is a form of escape for me and I don't want to start hating it. I've considered dropping, but I guess maybe I'll go once or twice before I do, to decide on my own.

I guess that is true about the deadline/motivation dealie. I didn't think of that. I guess it won't be so bad, I just need to learn to focus my attention.. blush I'm glad they aren't very big - I guess as long as I don't have to read it out loud, I'll be fine. I like putting my heart into my writing, but when I try to read it out loud, I end up smiling and giggling when I do. *sigh* Not that everything I write is sad, but..eh. I'll survive. biggrin

So you had the same prof. for the creative writing class that I'll have, or you've got the same one for the horror class you had for creative writing?

Yea, you can buy it.. I'm not sure how much books are going for/where to even look. surreal Do you know where I can sell the rest of them?
As for the astronomy book, I think I threw out one of the free discs it came with.. It lists 3 things on the back that are included, and I've found two of them.. I think this other is a disc. I am so dumb, I have no idea why at the start of the term, I tore out half the discs in these books..Argh @ me.
