There are a bunch of good books and websites with information on bipolar disorder including treatment options and info on meds. Research. Keeping a journal of your moods really helps. I rate mine with a number from 1-10 (1 being suicidal 10 being wildly manic) as well as recording thoughts and feelings. It really helps you to understand yourelf and your actions better.
