my top 5 albums of 2004:
in no particular order
Secret Machines - Now Here Is No Where: i feel compelled to use some ridiculous metaphor to describe this record, as in: "listening to this is like riding a slow wave until you realize you're riding a tall crest and are about to crash into the shore"
Arcade Fire - Funeral: an album like this is a rare beast indeed. you can even say something cheesy like: "made my senses tingle with emotions that i forgot i had" or "if i were stranded on an island, i'd have this in my cd player..."
Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand: perfect, clean-conscience pop rocking.
Wilco - A Ghost Is Born: i know, i'm jumping on this wagon a little too late.
Mclusky - The Difference Between You And Me Is That I Am Not On Fire: R.I.P. to one of the best original bands ever. this album was no let down from the previous ones. too bad it's the last.

Andre 3000 - The Love Below</i>: i have a non sexual crush on andre 3000.
The Futureheads - The Futureheads: futureheads or retroheads? it doesn't really matter, no does it?
