Ok, so I don't have much time, but I'll tell you this:
I was listening to the radio a couple days ago. Central NC's commercial radio is flacid at best, but we are very fortunate to have great college radio. I was listening to WXDU, where I use to DJ. (It's a longer story to explain why I DJ'd at a Duke hosted radio station...anothertime.) Anyway, it was Monday morning, but the deej was playing a set of songs about Sundays. It was a beautiful segueway through Johnny Cash, the VU, and many others that made me happy for mixtapers everywhere. Another fine example of local college radio goodness is WXYC. WXYC-chapel hill is a trendsetting and trendbreaking station that consistently gets recognized as the best that college radio has to offer. Also up for listening to on the web are:

WSHA
and probably more, but I gotta go. So, I'll leave you with this:
What are you favorite songs about days? (i.e., VU- "Sunday Morning")
And do you know any songs about Wednesday or Thursday? I think I know songs for all the other days...

Fortunately, sir, your wishes didn't come through. Birthday was the best ever, and in fact festivities were still going on the next morning - I think I finally wrapped things up after 8am. Dark lord that I am, I managed to drink my face off and avoid a hangover too, so woohoo for me...
